About the Artist

I’m a Philadelphia-based artist exploring geometric forms through chipboard and acrylic. The ideas I explore are geometrically conceptual and toe towards the abstract. My professional background is in architecture and construction, however these days I work in public transportation safety oversight.

My inspiration began in architecture school when I was studying how floor plates stack in high rise buildings.

I enjoy working with 1/16” thick chipboard. It’s easy to work with, and easy to explore forms with. I also explore the same conceptual geometries through colored transparent 1/8” acrylic sheets where I introduce abstracted ideas to help evolve the notions I’m interested in exploring.

I am highly interested in taking these forms into large scale steel and wood installations. It doesn’t take much to imagine these sculptures, the size of a car or a bus living in a park somewhere.
