This is a simple page where I want to introduce my concept of the structural crack. It’s not new, many individuals have explored the something beautiful about the feeling of a large point of mass that is slightly tipped, but folding that language into thin plate geometries while I keep center free-standing balance is an exercise in sculptural intention.

A few of my birds achieve this, but not all. It is not always easy to find, not always expressed with correct intention, but sought after.
