Aldebaran
Aldebaran, Arabic for 'The Follower', is the brightest star in the Taurus constellation. While cooler in temperature than our own sun, it is 45 times bigger and over 400 times brighter. Being a red giant, it has depleted the hydrogen in its core. Aldebaran has a companion star, however it is several orders of magnitude fainter and a fraction the size and mass of our own star.
