Sol is our sun, our host star.
The colors from Sol are an output of the color matrix used to code the all color temperatures of each Navigational Star. Solar spots were added, including a small array of blues and greens to help balance the gold and yellow tones present throughout the sculpture.
Sol is part of the Celestial Body series made from material used in the Navigational Star series. It is also made twice the size of any of the individual Navigational Stars.
