Fomalhaut
Fomalhaut is a bright and relatively young, very close, and hot A-type main sequence star in the Southern Fish constellation. Fomalhaut is only 25 light-years away. It's a member of a triple star system, alongside two fainter dwarf companions, and is notable for being one of the first stars to have a potential planet directly imaged. The win was short-lasting however, as it turns out the planet was simply a circumstellar disk of dust around the three planets. This could represent an early stage of life similar to our own solar system.
Name: Fomalhaut
Designation: Alpha Piscis Austrini
Constellation: Southern Fish
Hemisphere: South
Spectral Class: A-type main sequence
Temperature: 8,600K
